Hear From Our Patients
“Ann Nwabuebo is Leesburg’s premier Doctor of Physical Therapy. There are many providers in the DC Metro region, but Ann stands out as THE very best. Her clinical expertise in pelvic floor therapy is outstanding, but just as important is her ability to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and empowering for her patients.”
“I’ve referred many people to Ann over the years and have also had the opportunity to be her patient. From both perspectives, I can say without hesitation that her care is exceptional. She brings deep clinical knowledge, intuitive insight, and genuine compassion to every session.”
— Christina Moynihan
“Over the last 14 years, Ann has helped me physically prepare for and recover from the births of my children and 3 spinal surgeries. With Ann, physical therapy is not a quick, cursory visit and being sent home with a list of exercises to do until the next visit. At every appointment, she listens carefully, evaluates meticulously, and then gets to work with her truly healing hands!”
“One hour of time with Ann and her expert use of various approaches to physical therapy (e.g., myofascial release, cupping, craniosacral therapy, and exercise) is worth more than any number of visits to most other physical therapy clinics.”
— cissna family
“Ann is an extremely thoughtful and intuitive provider. She is the first provider who has truly been helpful for me with some complicated pelvic floor and whole body system issues. She has a wonderful bedside manner and is truly one of the best & and most caring healthcare providers I’ve ever worked with. I can’t recommend her enough!”
— Paige & Joe Wedding

Frequently Asked Questions
How does pelvic floor physical therapy help men?
Pelvic floor physical therapy addresses the muscles, nerves, and connective tissues in the pelvic region. For men, this can mean relief from chronic pelvic pain, improved bladder and bowel control after surgery, better sexual function, and reduced discomfort from conditions like chronic prostatitis or pelvic pain syndrome. Through manual therapy, targeted exercises, and lifestyle guidance, we help restore normal pelvic floor function.
Do you accept insurance?
ITR Physical Therapy is an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies, which allows us to focus exclusively on quality treatment and spend more individual time with you during each session. If you have PPO insurance, your insurance company will typically reimburse 60-80% of the cost. We provide detailed billing statements (superbills) with the necessary ICD-10 and CPT codes to make submitting for reimbursement as easy as possible.
What should I expect during my first visit?
Your first visit will include a comprehensive evaluation where your physical therapist will take the time to listen to your concerns, review your medical history, and assess your pelvic floor function, posture, and movement patterns. Each session lasts approximately one hour, and you’ll receive personalized attention in a private, respectful environment. Together, you’ll create a treatment plan tailored to your goals.
Is pelvic floor therapy uncomfortable or invasive?
We understand that pelvic health issues can feel private and sensitive. Our team approaches every patient with compassion and respect, and we’ll never do anything without your consent. Treatment techniques vary based on your needs and may include external manual therapy, postural training, and therapeutic exercises. Internal work is only done when appropriate and with your full understanding and permission.
